Does anyone have the video tutorial by chance? I tried to view it on his site but it stopped playing about midway thru the video. I then downloaded the video to my hd but it again stopped playing at the same frame and never began playing again.
I so do want to learn how to do the handles and dials to skirts but I haven't found anything that helps me learn how it's done. I have to have baby steps by step while learning things. lol
The text tutorial didn't appear to show as much steps as the video one appeared that it would be.

I don't know of any others, and I don't use Poser, but I can email you a CR2 I created for Poser/DazStudio with body handles in it. Perhaps looking through that might help? Sorry, I can't be more helpful.

Hopefully with those and what beginning half I did get to view of philc's tutorial and his text instructions for it, it may help to figure out how it's done. I did contact PhilC and he said the problem was the flash version that was causing the video to fail playing midway. He created the swf file to play in flash player 7 and it wouldn't play complete on my windows 7 with having the latest flash player version installed He has since updated the swf video to play in flash player 7 but I still have some problems on this win 7 machine playing it competely but most likely would play on the xp if that old machine of mine had a sound card that hadn't died in it lol

Did you get my K4 Fairy Wardrobe freebie? If so, the Fairy Dress.CR2 has the body handles in it. The handles themselves are in the Geometries folder, and the CR2 is in the character folder. If not, you can go grab it at ShareCG or at Renderosity: www.sharecg.com/v/42681/Poser/Fairy-Wardrobe-for-K4www.renderosity.com/mod/freestuff/details.php?item_id=60989That will be easier than me trying to email it to you.

Thank you. That's a cute fairy wardrobe You're welcome. Beware the Pants in extreme poses - I hadn't learned how to use Figure Setup Tools very well when I made them. Getting better all the time.

I've now managed to add body handles to the skirt and have them working correctly having the skirt front, back, and sides move as well as be hidden in renders without having to click on any hide handles inj.
I'm not sure how successful I'll be doing the boning and settup in the joint editor next time, but I've successfully done 1. It sure took me awhile to get it all working though. Hopefully it will get easier as I do more.

OK, folks........I've spent most of the day making movement morphs which do the same thing as body handles and it's much more professional and clean. No more body handles in the materials list! It is really simple. Learn how to use the deform tool to create your movement morphs - in D|S it's really a breeze to create a morph from a dform. There's a great D|S tutorial here: www.daz3d.com/i/tutorial/tutorial?id=2112&_m=dIf you use D|S for nothing else, the ease with which you can create movement morphs should encourage you to try it.

Will what you do here be usable in Poser? Yes, it's just a morph. Just tested them all in Poser 7. They work just like in D|S.
