I really need a clothes texturing tutorial for this site. I asked on the Daz forums for someone who'll make a tut and I'll pay. Although I don' t know how much something like that runs. No one replied. It's a tricky thing because merchants have their secrets they don't really wish to share. For instance, I'm interested in using solid patterns with lace overlays. Not just a floodfilled cheap look but with more intricate details. The biggest is texturing jeans with pockets and seams. THAT's what I'm most interested in.

is a lot of tuts around for texturing, most use flood fill at some point but does depend on how well its done. Things like pockets and seams are done with a displacment or bump map

Things like pockets and seams are done with a displacment or bump map I haven't found any in depth step by steps. Also the texture resources I have come with seams and pockets so wouldn't need to fake with displacement.

Oh I know how to make seams and pockets when modeling. What am saying is a texturing tutorial to place all the resource packets I've collected onto the template. I don't want to texture directly on the model within a modeling program. I wish to learn how to use either PaintShop Pro or Photoshop to but all my bells and whistles onto a template for a modeled item. I have so many buttons, seams, pockets, jeans textures that I've collected and all I know how to do is floodfill.
