was messing in blenders hair particle system found out if you convert to mesh then convert to curves add a bevel and a taper object can make some real freaky "hair" not realistic but could maybe make dreadlocks or manga styles have fun Attachments:

Ooooo! but can't you add like a trans map to that and make it more realistic? I totally suck at transmapping..it's what want to do but not sure how..but I hear alot of vendors talking about it....of course not alot of the hair creators want to share secrets LOL

load 2(or more) mats onto base object then in render settings of particles change the number in material box to match the number of the mat u want see pic lol heres another link www.blenderguru.com/videos/how-to-add-hair-to-a-characterI haven't tried getting strand hair out of blender and into poser yet so if you try let me know how lol did have a play last nite at getting particles and the soft body sim to help make the normal poser type hair, if I have any sucess with that I'll do a quick tut for you ok Attachments:
