Oh my, I'm so sorry that such severe health issues are pestering you folk!
I know how frustrating that can be, and don't wish it on anyone.
*********************************
I'm from Oregon on the US west coast, the rainy half of the state (inland half is mostly desert).
I'm mid-40's in age ("a lady should never tell her age" ... *scratches her head in puzzlement over that one, but follows it mostly to be polite*).
I'm sufficiently disabled to qualify as a "shut-in," so I'm always at home. (Apologies in advance if I seem a bit absent-minded at times. Unfortunately, that comes with the territory.)
I started with DAZ|Studio when it was near the end of its beta-testing. The result could be summarized as "immediately hooked."
I've been dabbling with 3D ever since, as time and energy permit.
I did manage to grab Poser5 when it was free for a month or so a few years back. That's the only Poser I own, because it's the only one I've been able to afford.
If it were a physical item, my copy of Poser5 would be collecting a lot of dust. I'd been doing 3D DAZ-style for over a year before obtaining Poser5.
While it is -possible- to "teach an old dog new tricks" (just takes a bit longer than for a young one), changing those recently-learned tricks isn't nearly so easy.
To me, at least, it feels like trying to learn a different language without a dictionary.
So while I do have a Poser, I seldom use it unless I need to test something in it or use one of the few functions that DAZ doesn't seem to have.

By the way...
I did spend a bit over a year as an official beta-tester for a small online 3D store. That store went under after the owner had a health issue that required hiring someone else to fill in, and the hireling proved to be ... a problem.
I would be happy to beta-test any models that anyone is working on, but fair warning -- please bear in mind that sometimes I may not be well enough to sit up.
So if there's a tight deadline, I might not be much help, if it chances to fall during a bad health spell for me.
I have a sense of humor, too. 'Tis the only way to stay sane when my physical health is so unreliable.
And now that I've thoroughly bored you with mundane details of my life, you may return to your regularly-scheduled day / evening / whatever time it was when you got sidetracked by reading this.
