Im downloading the beta now..I love that simulator. I would think tho that for the free 'basic' version, they would charge a bit less since you wont be able to sell anything.

It's a expensive program Jsm2 have heard for commercial use its going to be $10.000 so unless you get a licence to sell your clothes you can't sell them, we will see when the full version is out what the true cost will be but I think it will still be way too much. Hugs Trixe

not sure what the real price is because the $dollar sign is at the end not the beginning 10,000$ $10,000
maybe its foreign maybe it only cost $100

mmmmmmm I think this is for fashion designers and clothes (real ones) makers lol it makes the clothes from "dress makers" patterns and while it is turning out a nice 3d model of a dress(woteva) I dont think the 3d is the main purpose for it maybe if he has enough interest from us poserphrieks there will be a cut down version for us at a nicer price

Welp I gave it a quick once over...I brought in Jessie G2 as an avatar {obj}..that is the colliding object..if you bring in your own clothes, you have to make them static...they wont simulate I did get a circular plane to drape over Jessie, but that is all I had time to do..Im not a seamstress so making clothing out of patterns isn't going to be easy for me. @trixie, Yes, I know its expensive..but from what they say on the site, that for the basic version, {you cant sell anything you make} it will cost $500.00 bux..wayyyy too expensive for an app to only make freebies... Also, apparently they have the program set to 'phone home' anytime you use the program...if you aren't connected to the net, you can't run the program...and they claim it is to avoid warezers...while that may be true, I dont think they will get very far with something like that. Altho its very nice, that is just two things that will completely turn me off of even thinking of getting it when it goes full...no matter what the price.

Can someone more in the know confirm? I'll buy it right now if thats the case!

Wow that looks sooooooooo easy. Way easier than modeling in any program. The poster I originally saw this from said it will not be as high as initially stated. If it'll be around $500 or so, it's a program I'd get (for Christmas of course). Daz thread

Wow I LOVE all of them. Most are so chic or high fashion. I really like this one too even though it's on the more ordinary side. Attachments:

That looks like an awesome program but such a steep price. Surely they wouldn't sell a program at such a high price and then state you can't sell anything you make using their program but some have some strange policies.
I've downloaded the demo but haven't yet ventured to try it. I had wondered if there are any limitations to the beta download and nothing you make could be exported to test it in poser.

Well..read this over at the forums in response to EZ's question for us.:
"We've decided the price at the last meeting. The price is 699 USD for commercial use and 199 USD for personal(non-commercial) use. It will be officially announced soon."
Not spending 200 bux for something I won't be allowed to use to create commercial items if I choose.
Guess it's back to Hexagon and the Poser simulator for me...least I can sell whatever I want.
