In this one the wrinkles are less clumped, jagged...so more refined. I like that. Could be something wrong I'm doing on my end though.
A plus for MD is I like the interface. It's more intuitive.

ARrrrgh. I am making different textures for the same shirt and it's importing blank again without the texture in Daz. The mtl file is within the same folder as the obj this time, but still showing up blank. It wouldn't matter too much, as I can just apply it in Daz, but I rotated and scaled it to my liking within MD. Attachments:

In the video, this person quickly clicked on a dot to add the texture and it be a different size. I can't see what they did though. I want to create an overlay. They did it so fast. How did they get that small rectangle to show up so I can resize and not replace my existing base texture? Attachments:

I tried to create a plunging neckline but it made this big gap. There are two problems. This program needs a feature like the Extract Tools to where it holds it's shape instead of getting rounded. I tried adding points in the middle so I could drag it closer, but it made it lop-sided. Attachments:

the overlay was done threw print texture, the texture i would guess a .PNG with transparent background thats why only the dots show up. for the other problem cant tell till you post the files or it just turns into a guessing game. That person made a rectangle but not with the rectangle tool. He/she did it so quickly, I cannot tell. I tried using the rectangle tool and drawing out a small space (just to see) and it made more geometry basically. It didn't give me an overlapping of textures.

How do I make a sleeve? I made a rectangle and then added seams for both sides(front and back of 1 arm hole) to the 1 rectangle. It didn't turn out well. I'm going to make sweater next. Been doing sleeveless dresses so far.

Been doing sleeveless dresses so far. It just hit me. I guess you start with a sleevless and then drag it down the arm like you'd do to elongate a dress?

the overlay was done threw print texture. Ahh ok. I will click on that tool when I want to add an embellishment then. That video the person made wasn't the greatest. Yours are the best breakdowns. People don't realize it, but when they're speed modelers, they go through it so fast, you don't know what key they pressed on it. It's especially difficult when there are no words informing you of the steps they took. You have to rely on the visuals, but the steps taken by them are so FAST that the visual doesn't even help. I'm getting more and more into this program. ;D

I take that back now that I think about it. That they weren't actual tutorials and that they're from a different country. Wasn't fair to say so being that's the case. They've done a great job with this program I must say. It's very intuitive. Have you checked that other simulator Jsm put up? What do you think?

Almost perfect. It's tiling but I don't want it to. I only want the 1 butterfly shown. I tried zooming in and out, and see more or less of them, but not ONE, single, butterfly. I either get big butterflies or little ones. Attachments:

So true. That was a blunder though. This whole time it's about duplicates and what you do to one side, you do to the other, then what do you know? I forget to make a duplicate sleeve. I can't live that one down. It's just...now that I know the basics, I want to make so many things.

Hed,
It still runs after your trial period is up. You're able to use it until it gets out of beta(whenever that is).

The tiles are repeated too close together. So I tried to Zoom in and move over, but zooming it made the butterfly too big and you can't see it correctly. The thing is you have to zoom when you position so you don't see the others. I'll ask this on the Marv forums in a minute. There has to be a repeat tiling options that you can click off. Don't know why it would tile since it was only one butterfly on a transparent bg.
