wow love these ruffles dont think I could do that in hex lol Lovely. You know, your template looks like a Chemistry assignment. The issue I'm going to have is that I need these to become conforming clothes. I have Poser 6 and 7 but have abandoned them and am DS only. DS only used dynamics through Opitex and there's no way the user can make clothes for it at this point. So if I am to use these items in any other application besides Marv, it'll HAVE to be conforming.

did the ruffles with the elastic band thing its on the right hand panel down near the bottom when you got the line selected, I set it to 50 (think its workin on % ) expect to have 4 or 5 sims (with adjustments lol ) before it hangs nice

SSAfam ~ no idea what autogroup would make of these meshes but I dont fancy grouping one by hand that puffy ruffled look will be hell on poly count too!! mmmmm wonder if a displacement map would work ??

Thanks Hed I have a question if anyone knows the answer..everytime I get my clothing created..and I decide to make an adjustment to say the hem of the dress..say I want it a bit longer...when I pull the line or node down, the material bunches up in the waist area...sometimes so bunched until I have to abandon it and start over..anyone know what Im doing wrong?

you could try and just delete the 2 points in the area of your problem,
your pattern does not need to fit that tight around the shadow character, look at the problem area and you will see you have 2 points in the same area, just pull out, pull the 2 dots away from the shadow character.
what happen is your pulling the pattern to close into the character mesh
if you saved and reloaded this cloth try and Rearrange all patterns (icon) then pull out on the 2 points and simulate it again

you could try and just delete the 2 points in the area of your problem and re sew it.
try and Rearrange all patterns (icon) then pull out on the 2 points and simulate it again.
in the cloth window when the mesh is flat you still may need to move it before simulating it.
make SURE you use the same POSE you made it from.
you should all ways really make your pattern from the T-pose default pose

I just save cloth and it sticks...I'll test in Poser and see what happens after I save the cloth as an obj.

Okies..I saved the obj with the test texture applied..opened Poser and because I didn't have the texture image in the same folder I had to go look for it, but once I did it came out fine. Can't help with Daz tho..I don't have it installed Attachments:

Hmmm..looks like MD isn't the only game in town... www.tukatech.com/products/efit/3d_apparel_simulating_software.htmlwww.vimeo.com/3784017And this one was created in 2004.... ----------------------------------------------------- One solution to this problem has been introduced by Tukatech. In 2004, Tukatech began work on a new software product that it dubbed the e-fit Simulator by TUKA. Tukatech’s goal was to create realistic garments on the computer from actual patterns, so that designers, patternmakers and buyers could make fit comments and suggest alterations more quickly. The company wanted this “digital garment” to be portable, so that people all over the world could view the garment, and it should be easy, so that patternmakers of all levels could use it as part of their development process. A year after original discussions, Tukatech released e-fit Simulator to the market, and eventually the name e-fit stuck and is quickly becoming a standard term. ---------------------------------------- Uhhh..the simularities are.....well...coincidence? Thoughts on this?
