Wow it's been over 2hrs since It's been scanning. Let it go. Even if it takes overnight. You really need a thorough scan.

It finished around an hour ago. Hmm only detected one error and fixed it. So both Malwarebytes and Comodo came up with 1.
I had less memory on that comp and it's almost full to capacity. When I got my new computer with more space, I transferred my old files but never deleted the files off of the old one(kinda wanted backup). I really have to take some time out and sort away all these files...just seems overwhelming.
Still cannot get onto the Internet upstairs. Says networks are available but only lists one and one that isn't what we originally had. We had our name...this is some random network. Guess this is a Linksys error.

Your network isn't being recognized. Are you sure the name didn't get changed? And, do you mean the HARD DRIVE is nearly full? That has nothing to do with "memory." The memory in your machine and hard drive capacity are 2 separate issues.

Its total is 258 or something like that and 143 is used. I thought it had Less than that...like 30 (why I decided to upgrade in the first place. More space and Windows 7 as that was Windows Vista), but just checked and it has 13(something) left.

OK, well, that 13 something isn't big enough to manage the Windows swap files, so that's probably why you can't do much with the machine, including getting online. You have to delete some files.

Not only am a pack-rat and hoarder, I am always anxious about deleting things. Even after it's backed up. I just always feel, "What if....I'll need this at a later date" and my external crashing late last year(which was supposed to be my backup) doesn't ease that fear.
